Memorial CDC offers a variety of programs and resources for youth and young adults to access quality education, learn new skills and grow into stronger individuals.

Bits & Bytes STEAM Lab (PreK-12)
The STEAM Lab exposes youth to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Through experimentation, youth are encouraged to use creativity, problem solving, and teamwork to understand how science is a part of everyday life. MCDC and partners offer several STEAM camps throughout the year.

Fit for the Future (1st-8th)
Fit for the Future is a fun and energy filled out of school time camp/care for your child in Kindergarten to age 12 years of age. During out of school time (Spring Break, Summer, Fall & Winter Breaks) we provide all day care from 8 am - 4 pm with focusing on your child's future. We have a heavy emphasis on physical health, but also include financial, mental, and spiritual health as well. Weekly rates are $85 and include meals and snacks.

LifeSkills (6th-8th)
An after-school program offered Tues thru Thurs. for youth grades 6-8. #LifeHacks teaches personal development, confidence, and responsibility to prepare youth for their transition to adulthood. Youth learn the basics of cooking, safety, sewing, financial literacy, goal setting, and other skills that help them become independent.

SWAG Mentoring & Tutoring
Students Working to Achieve Greatness (SWAG) is for students of any age to participate in one-on-one and small group tutoring and homework assistance.

Garden Market
With the Garden Market, youth gain hands-on training from skilled gardeners. Teens market and sell their products. Health, nutrition, and food preparation workshops are available to the public.

Youth Employment Program
The Youth Employment Program (YEP) equips teenagers and young adults with professional development training, work experience, as well as career-oriented employment opportunities. Youth ages 14 to 24 are invited to apply to gain valuable experience working in positions that contribute to the betterment of the community.
