An effort to organize and mobilize around unjust prejudices and policies that affect the community. Through activism the ministry addresses various issues such as wrongful convictions, mass incarceration, predatory lending, zoning, food deserts, voting participation, legal resources and also lends a voice on panels around social issues.
General Advocacy Training
"The Leader in You" is a three week training that empowers members of the community with tools that will improve leadership skills and help them become better
advocates for issues that they care about. In partnership with My School Options and Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library, the program will be offered to the community on Tuesday nights
from 6pm-8pm April 14th to April 28th at the EVPL Annex Training Room. Registration will begin in March 2020.
